Darren Harriott became the fifth celebrity axed from Dancing On Ice 2023 after a tense skate-off.
The latest instalment of the ITV reality show was a Movies themed special, with all of the remaining celebs and their pro partners skating to famous songs from blockbuster films.
Unfortunately, Darren and The Wanted star Siva Kaneswaran failed to impress fans and both landed in the dreaded skate-off, fighting for their place in the competition.
The comedian returned to the ice alongside professional partner Tippy Packard as they faced off against Siva and his professional partner Klabera Komini. However, the time was up for Darren as he made his exit from the show on Sunday night.
In the skate-off, judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse, Ashley Banjo, and guest judge Arlene Phillips decided who to save once the couples skated again.
Ashley, Oti, and Jayne voted unanimously to save Siva and despite his vote not being needed Chris confirmed he would have saved the popstar too.
"I’ve lasted a lot longer than I expected… I thought I’d be out before I even started!” Darren joked after his exit. He added: “I’ve had such a fun time, Thank you so much… I’ve never met anyone like Tippy, she’s been full of enthusiasm for everything.”
