Veteran golfer Darren Clarke scooped €126,000 for his joint-second place finish at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in the beautiful surroundings of Hualalai Golf Club in Hawaii over the weekend.
The Dungannon native carded a final round of 68 and ended the day tied second with Australia's Steven Alker, Canada's Mike Weir and American Ken Tanigawa
The second place finisher was due to collect around €184,000 but as Clarke ended up tied with three others it was split four ways meaning he ended up pocketing €126,000.

The 2022 Seniors Open winner has been in excellent form recently and topped the leaderboard before succumbing to the challenge of eventual winner Steve Stricker.
The next tournament on the Champions Tour is the Hassan ll Golf Trophy, which begins on February 9.
