The Eagles are advancing through preparation for Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the team will likely be without cornerback Darius Slay.
Slay, who exited Sunday’s win with a groin injury, did not practice on Thursday. Isaiah Rodgers replaced him in the Bengals game, and he tipped a pass intended for wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase that led to an interception by safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

Defensively, defensive tackle Jalen Carter returned to practice after missing Wednesday with a shoulder injury. Carter played 45 snaps on Sunday, the most of any defensive lineman.
Dallas Goedert, who has a hamstring injury, is expected to miss his third straight game.
Goedert has missed the last two games after injuring his hamstring early in the Week 6 win over Cleveland and did not practice.
Landon Dickerson was limited with a knee injury, while Mekhi Becton looks ready to return to the lineup after missing a game with a concussion.
Becton suffered a concussion in the Week 7 win against the New York Giants and did not practice last week. Tyler Steen replaced Becton in the lineup.
Dickerson, meanwhile, played 58 snaps in Sunday’s win over the Bengals.
