Irish comedian Dara O'Briain has joked about a 'new career path' after being mistaken for a DUP MLA.
It comes as a tweet showing the election poster of DUP MLA for South Antrim, Trevor Clarke, was accompanied with the caption: "Dara O'Briain, is this a new career path you're trying?"
The 50-year-old funnyman replied that due to the resemblance between the two men, the comment was one he was "getting a lot this week."

In response, Dara added: "Yes, of course it’s me, so give me your vote so I can do that thing with the border and Stormont that you’d expect."
Replying to the tweet, one fan joked: "So, you’re telling us that Waterfront gigs where actually party political broadcasts?!? Well, I feel so conned!!"
While another added: "He’s your DUPlicate?"
Dara O'Briain visited Belfast last month for two nights at the Waterfront Hall on the 18th and 19th March as part of his 'So, Where Were We?' tour.
