A cutesy action-platformer about skateboarding might be the last place you’d expect Danny Trejo to show up, but that’s where you’ll find him in OlliOlli World.
As part of OlliOlli World’s launch on Feb. 8, the Machete star will appear as an in-game character. According to Trejo himself, he’ll be “hosting” a side-quest. It’s hard to know how significant his role will be in the grand scheme of things, but seeing such a massive actor in something smaller-scale like OlliOlli World is cool. Hopefully, they utilize his talents better than Far Cry 6 did.
Check out Trejo’s in-game model for yourself below.
From February 8th you can find me in @OlliOlligame! I’m one of these quirky characters in this new skateboarding action platformer coming for PC and your favorite console. I'll see you at the terrific side-quest I'm hosting!#ad #olliolliworld pic.twitter.com/inRzyyfIWf

OlliOlli World is actually from a fairly experienced team despite its indie-like appearance. Developer Roll7 brought us hits like NOT A HERO and Laser League: World Arena, the latter of which was quite popular and well-received for its time.
If there’s one thing one can glean from OlliOlli World from a distance, it’s that this is one vibrant, pretty game. Take a look at the recent gameplay overview trailer below to see what I mean.
