Emmerdale's Danny Miller appeared on Lorraine this morning, to discuss the return of his character - Aaron Dingle - ahead of the show 's 50th anniversary. Aaron was reintroduced to the show on Monday, when he intervened in an attack on his half-sister, Liv.
He turned up at her door just minutes after she had been knocked to the ground by Terry, her mum Sandra's evil partner. With Liv writhing in agony on the floor, Aaron rushed to her aid - but she fell unconscious and was taken to hospital.
It was a dramatic re-entry for Danny, who told Lorraine that he will be part of a number of big storylines in the coming weeks. And Danny said that it was a "no-brainer" when he was asked to return ahead of the 50th anniversary.
He said: "Emmerdale's a huge part of my life and to be invited back to be a part of the 50th anniversary was a no-brainer. It was really nice to see everyone and find out what people have been up to and get amongst it again."
Danny first stepped back from Emmerdale following the birth of his little boy, who is now nearly one. Danny said that "he's amazing", adding that the first year has "flown by".
And it has been a busy year for Danny in other ways, as last December he won that series of I'm A Celeb. He told Lorraine that it was "one of the best experiences of [his] life", but said that he will sadly not be able to head to Australia to hand over the crown for the new series - as he will be in Bradford doing panto.
If you do not get a chance to see him on stage, at least you will be able to catch Danny in Emmerdale for the foreseeable future!
