Danny Miller announces first major acting role since leaving Emmerdale

Emmerdale star Danny Miller will be appearing in panto this Christmas at Bradford's Alhambra Theatre.

Danny Miller, 31, will be taking the lead role in Jack and The Beanstalk. It will be running at the historic Bradford venue from Saturday, December 10 until Sunday, January 22.

Last year, Danny won I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and soon after left Emmerdale. He played fan favourite Aaron Dingle for 13 years.

After his exit, the star said he’d be open to a variety of roles. Those who’ve missed seeing him on their screens will be able to see him spread a little festival cheer in the pantomime.

Announcing his appearance, Danny posted on Twitter: “Oy yes, I am.” Referencing that famous panto catchphrase.

He will be appearing alongside Ru Paul's Drag Race UK star Divina De Campo and comic Billy Pearce. Danny added: “I have loved the story of Jack and the Beanstalk since I was a kid so I’m really excited to bring it to life on the stage. To get the chance alongside Billy and Divina will be bags of fun!"
