Danny Malin has debunked claims he’s having a “miracle baby” with his partner following a vasectomy, after cruel trolls have said the baby “isn’t his”. He's said the vasectomy operation failed ten years ago and he was well aware of this.
The Rate My Takeaway star, 43, is expecting with Yorkshire Post reporter Sophie Mei Lan, 34. They first meet each other while Sophie was interviewing Danny for the regional paper in November last year.
A month later, they announced their engagement. They've since announced she is pregnant with his baby, earlier this month.

The news orginally broke via The Mirror, with the headline ‘Britain's Got Talent star and YouTuber expecting first baby together despite vasectomy’. This led to multiple other publications, including Leeds Live, reporting the couple were “ecstatic” over the fact they were having a “miracle baby”.
But Danny has now revealed that his vasectomy failed when he had the operating back in 2013, he was well aware of this and wants trolls to stop questioning his paternity and Sophie’s fidelity.
Danny said: “I’d had the vasectomy ten years ago, and then I felt a bit of pain in my groin. So, I went to the doctors and he told me to go for some tests.
“In a vasectomy they cut and tie the tubes. One of the tubes had untied itself and reattached itself. I was firing on all cylinders, it was as simple as that.
“The doctors said they could do it again but this time it would be surgery, I’d be under the knife and they’d have to remove it. To be honest, I was just a bit of a wimp and thought ‘I’m not having that done, it was painful enough the first time’.
“I haven’t told anyone about that yet. So the other story was all about how we’re having a ‘miracle baby’. So people jump in and say ‘it’s not his!’ I’ve been for two or three tests, as I knew I had quite a high sperm count. So as soon as it re-connected itself, it’s firing again.”
Danny has also blasted trolls for calling Sophie ‘Yorkshire’s Meghan Markle’, calling the nickname racist and has shared how happy she has made him and his family. The couple have launched their own Youtube channel called Mr and Mrs Yorkshire, where they try out new experiences together, like belly dancing.
