Danny Malin told his fiancée to "get a new boyfriend" when she asked him for a £60,000 necklace in a Batley shop.
In December YouTube star Danny, who lives in Leeds, proposed to the "love of his life" Sophie Mei Lan. The pair been wedding planning ever since. They engaged just 22 months after Danny's former partner Carrie Taylor tragically died.
Danny, who runs the popular Rate My Takeaway page, admitted he thought he would "live out my days as a lonely old man" with his three children, but Sophie Mei Lan has made him "whole" again. The couple have started their own YouTube channel called Mr and Mrs Yorkshire, and on Saturday, March 18 they shared that Sophie also proposed to Danny.

The couple went on a day out to Batley and visited Pugata Jewellery. Sophie wanted Danny to pick out an eternity ring to showcase their commitment.
Sophie said: "Something that has been on my mind is getting Danny a ring. I was nervous because after the proposal I wanted to show that I was equally committed to him. We both just want to get married. So we are getting him an eternity ring."
Speaking to Danny, she added: "Because your special and different, I wanted to get you something different." Danny said: "Me and you together forever."
After arriving at the shop, Sophie tried on a stunning diamond necklace with a pearl on, worth a whopping £60,000. Sophie joked about Danny buying her the necklace, and he said: "Well, you better go find yourself another boyfriend. It looks nice. It looks beautiful but I am not at a stage where I can afford that."
Danny picked out a black ring with a trim of black diamonds on it. Sophie wanted him to pick out an eternity ring before she proposed to him.
At their home, she set up a sweet treasure hunt for Danny. Sophie left a long line of notes with '27 things I love about you', and rose petals. She also put out pancakes with syrup and banana.
He read the notes aloud before Sophie got down on one knee and said: "Will you be my forever. I don't just want you in this life, I want you in heaven and everything. You're literally my everything." Danny said yes and the pair shared a kiss.
While wedding plans have not been confirmed yet Sophie confirmed the couple have been making arrangements for it already, and plan to share updates via their new YouTube channel.
