Beloved takeaway reviewer Danny Malin was back in Leeds recently - this time, to try one of the most raved about breakfasts in the city.
Slip's Deli, based in Cardigan Road, Headingley, is a family run business which has become renowned for its 15 inch sub-sandwiches. It has been open since 1998 and is beloved by students who live in the area.
Over the years the eatery has been inundated with five star reviews. YouTube star Danny Malin, who has been reviewing Leeds restaurants for years, wanted to see what all the fuss was about. He reviewed the venue on his channel Rate My Takeaway. "Let's slip into the Deli and see what is happening," he said.

Danny wanted to try the big breakfast sub said to be the "ultimate works". He also ordered the special dish, a meatball 'Italian job', and a bottle of water. His meal came to a total cost of £11.50.
Some of Slip's Deli's best sellers include Hunters' chicken with crispy bacon, succulent chicken, BBQ sauce topped with melted mozzarella, as well as the vegetarian special, including vegetarian bacon and sausage with mayonnaise, mustard, and salad.
"Look at the size of that," Danny said as his food arrived. With his jaw dropped in awe, the reviewer said: "Wow, now this is what I call proper student food. It looks amazing. It looks good and feels good."
First he tucked into the big breakfast sub sandwich - filled with bacon, hash browns, beans, sausages, a fried egg, and mushrooms, and topped off with brown sauce. After taking his first bite, the reviewer said: "The bacon is nice and thick. It is quality.
"The hash brown has been done on the grill and not deep fried, so it isn't swimming in grease. So, it is on that healthier side. I have got to say that is one of the nicest breakfast muffins I've had in a while."
Next, the 44-year-old tucked into the meatball sandwich. Danny said: "Oh yeah. It is oozing with cheese, meatballs, and homemade sauce. The sauce - wow. It is absolutely spot on and gorgeous."
Danny said the spot is "perfect" for lunchtime treats. He added that the eatery is good value for money. "It is an absolute winner," the reviewer said.
