Georgia Jones has made a low-key return to social media, just days after it was revealed she’s giving her husband Danny another chance following that kiss with Maura Higgins. And rather than diving into the drama, she came back with what she called a “very important question” — all about her hair.
Posting a playful video on Instagram, Georgia showed off her natural waves and asked followers: “I’ve got a very important question… do you think my straight hair might actually be curly?” In the caption, she opened up a bit more, saying, “I never let my hair dry naturally because what looks like a beachy wave when wet turns into a Hagrid/Monica Geller hybrid when dry. I think there’s some curls going on, but how the hell do I get them to do their thing!? I want all your curly girl styling wisdom, please!”
The lighthearted post came after a tense few weeks for the couple, whose marriage was rocked when Danny was caught on camera kissing Love Island star Maura Higgins at a BRIT Awards afterparty. Danny later issued a public apology, saying he was sorry for “putting Georgia in this situation”, reported the Mirror.
Georgia was reportedly furious and left the London home she shares with Danny, staying with friends for a few days to cool off and get some space. According to sources, she spent that time enjoying some much-needed girlie time with her best mate, Rose Mahon, and was seen out laughing over a bottle of bubbly in a London pub. But it sounds like things may be softening, as she’s now moved back into the family home, and the couple is quietly trying to work things out.
A friend told The Sun: “The break has done Georgia a world of good… Her relationship with Danny has been stretched to its limits, and they’re still figuring out what they want. Danny has made it clear he will do anything to make it work.”
Still, it hasn’t been easy. The pair, who’ve been married for 11 years and share a seven-year-old son, Cooper, are said to be dealing with things behind closed doors. A source told The Mirror that Danny is “mortified” and filled with regret. “He cares so deeply about his family and hopes his words will draw a line under what has been a deeply upsetting time… He and Georgia are living together and trying to work things through but he is not out of the woods yet.”
While Georgia’s return to Instagram may seem casual, it’s clear she’s still processing everything. Just before the hair post, she shared a simple photo of daffodils with the caption: “SPRING.” And though some critics have accused her of forgiving Danny too quickly, those close to her insist she’s doing what’s best for her son and herself.
As for Maura? She’s kept completely quiet about the kiss, instead jetting off to LA for a fashion shoot with Oh Polly — clearly choosing to ride out the storm from a sunny distance.
