Danny Dyer has revealed that his daughter, Dani, "body-shamed" him at the beginning of the year.
The EastEnders actor, 44, confessed on their joint podcast - Sorted with The Dyers - that his daughter is worried for his health, and wants him to take up more exercise in the hope that he'll "live longer".
Despite Dani's well-meaning plea with her famous dad, the Mick Carter actor took it as quite the insult.
Lifting the lid on the situation in the latest episode of the father-daughter duo's popular podcast, Danny insisted that New Years resolutions are "a load of b***ocks" before admitting that he's riddled with fears about exercise because he's terrified his heart will give in.
"I think New Years resolutions are a load of b***ocks, and I think 'why on earth' would you do that during a month where everyone is depressed anyway," Danny insisted.
"In general, January is a bit of a tw*t month. Because it comes after Christmas and everyone feels skint and fat.
"To ask someone to give up something during that month, I just think it's pretty harsh.
"Don't start your year promising yourself that you're going to do stuff and then you let yourself down."
The father-daughter duo then found themselves in a rather heated discussion about New Years fitness regimes as Love Island winner Dani insisted that she really wants her dad to get into exercise.
"I really want you to go get into fitness," the mum-of-one shared.
Following her admission, Dani's dad confessed that she had "body-shamed" him off-air before the pair started to record the latest podcast episode.
"Anyway, off-air, Dani has body-shamed me," Danny said.
"She told me I needed to go to the gym. And I sort of told her a story, and said that maybe running could kill me, just because my heart is so not used to beating that fast."
However, Dani insisted that she simply asked her dad to rethink his exercise regime in the hopes that he'll live longer and be around for his one-year-old grandson, Santiago.
"I just said I wanted you to live longer. I just feel that exercise is so good for you. How I feel after the gym is just incredible," Dani said.
Danny's exercise confession comes after the much-loved actor was reportedly offered £1 million by Channel 4 to star in a reality show with his family.
The EastEnders star recently confirmed that he is leaving the soap after playing Mick Carter for the last nine years.
He will depart Walford later this year because the actor says he is still looking to land a 'defining role'.
And now, it has been said that he was offered the whopping sum of cash to star in the reality series with wife Jo Mas and their kids Dani, 25, daughter Sunnie, 14, and son Arty, eight.
"Once Danny is a free agent later this year, the sky’s the limit," an insider told The Sun.
"TV production companies are falling over themselves to film him and his family.
" Channel 4 made him a lucrative offer that he’s been tempted by and he knows his family would make really lively, fun TV as they’re all so down-to-earth and people at home can relate to them."
