Danny Dyer has shared that he is struggling with his mental health.
The actor - who is preparing to leave his job on EastEnders has seen him playing Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter since 2013 in order to appear in a new Sky drama - lifted the lid on battling worrying thoughts during the latest episode of his Sorted with the Dyers podcast.
As the newest episode of the podcast began, Danny told his co-host and daughter Dani Dyer that he's "had a thought week" when she commented on his voice sounding more relaxed than usual.
He then went on to share that he needed to express that his "brain's been attacking him" and that he has been "a little bit f***ed in the nut."
Soap star Danny said: "I am feeling very spiritual, I have had a tough week, Dan, mentally, you know this is what it is about now you need to express.
Sharing that he has been struggling with his identity, the Football Factory name added: "All you people listening, we go through these times when we don’t know who the f**k we are and we struggle knowing who that is.
"It's been on me a little bit, brains been attacking me it is really difficult and so I just wanted to put that out there because I needed to do that, anyone who is struggling you need to open your mouth and say and stop saying 'your fine', 'I’m alright' if your not then express it.
"It is important. Now, I’ve expressed it I feel slightly better, still, a little bit f***ed in the nut, I am not going to lie. So anyone listening to this, don’t worry I am going through it too and you will be ok."
Elsewhere during the chat, Danny also confessed that stepping away from EastEnders is "a gamble."
"I'm taking that leap because I need to and I think sometimes you have to gamble in life as that is what makes it exciting!" he shared.
In January, the Mirror revealed that Danny was leaving EastEnders after being poached by Sky.
Strict BBC rules have prevented Danny from appearing on rival channels for years so the move will allow him to explore other opportunities.

One source said: “Danny has offers coming in left right and centre, and a lot of the things he has wanted to do he can’t because EastEnders have such strict rules about what he can and can’t do.
“It’s driven him mad at times and he’s now ready for a change. But it hasn’t been easy to walk away, BBC bosses have been desperate to keep him. But he’s been insistent and when Sky approached they gave him an offer he couldn’t refuse. It’s a new chapter for Dan and he’s over the moon.”
