Danniella Westbrook is set to undergo facial reconstruction surgery this weekend, after waiting six years for the procedure.
In a bid to revamp her appearance ahead of her 50th birthday this year, the former EastEnders actress, 49, will fly to Turkey to go under the knife.
Danniella has undergone various facial surgeries over the years, in a bid to treat the effects of her battle with osteoporosis and previous cocaine addiction.
While the actress admitted she feels “nervous” about the procedure, she said “it’s about time”, having waited five to six years for the operation.
While attending the Rise of the Footsoldier premiere at Leicester Square Danniella told The Sun: “I'm off to Turkey at the weekend.
“I'm not feeling too bad. A bit nervous but I’m excited because it’s been five or six years of waiting now. It’s about time.”
The actress revealed that she’s wanting to get in the “best shape of my life” this year and has enlisted the help of a personal trainer, in the form of former footballer, Miles Addison.
To add to her transformation, Danniella shared a picture of her brand new hairstyle, after flying to Lurgan to have her locks styled by hairstylist Thomas Doonan at Milano Hair and Beauty.
She shared: "@milanohairandbeauty Thank you for letting me fly to Ireland and have my hair done. I felt like Cinderella when I arrived and left ready to meet my Prince Charming.
"Tom you are the one man every woman needs on speed dial … that and Ryan air …The way you transformed my broken hair with roots and uneven from my d.i.y hair cuts to how it is now is magical."
"Thank you my darling and Conner too. Love you and see you all soon much love Westie."
The TV personality has struggled with her health over the years, suffering from osteoporosis, which means her bones are more fragile and at a higher risk of breakage. She underwent a rib insertion procedure in 2018, where part of her rib was inserted into her face.
In April last year, it appeared that Danniella underwent another procedure, after she was spotted out with a bandage over her nose.
The actress also sustained severe injuries to her face when she was involved in a car crash in 1998.
The incident left Danniella with painful looking bruises, cuts and a swollen eye after the incident.
She ended up having to undergo an operation to have glass removed from her eyes.
Earlier this month, Danniella shared a picture that was taken of her injuries, captioning it: “Had more lives than ya average Pussy cat #blessed.”
The actress was only 24 at the time of the accident, and was in the car with her boyfriend Robert Fernandez, who was driving, and 14-month-old son Kai, who was unhurt.
