Danniella Westbrook has been comforted by fans after she posted a cryptic message following her shock split from jailbird fiancé David.
The 49-year-old was set to tie the knot with her partner later this year, as he was due to be released in September ahead of her 50th birthday.
Danniella was even spotted trying on wedding dresses earlier this week, and she previously spoke about waiting for David to be released from prison so he could propose in style and they could tie the knot.
However it was reported the couple, who have had a tumultuous seven-year on-again-off-again relationship, split for good on Tuesday, leaving the EastEnders star devastated.
She took to Instagram to share a cryptic message about her state of mind on Wednesday, and was flooded with supportive messages from fans and followers.
“It’s okay to disappear until you feel like you again,” the quote read, as Danniella wrote alongside it: “Catch flights not feelings #clarity.”
“It will be ok in the end. If it’s not ok it’s not the end. Stay strong. Good luck darling,” one fan wrote.
“Take all the time you need,” another commented.
“Sending u massive amounts of love, hugs and respect. Your a good woman Danielle and don't u ever forget it mate,” a friend added, as another posted: “We love you.”
News of the split emerged on Tuesday, and Danniella was reportedly left heartbroken by the end of her long-distance relationship, even though it was a mutual decision.
“Both Danniella and David have decided to cancel their wedding plans and, it seems, their whole relationship,” a source told The Sun.
“She has spent nearly seven years travelling all over the country to visit him but it seems the closer he is to coming home, the more the cracks are showing,” they added.
It was rumoured the couple had “changed so much” since they first got together, and David, who is preparing to be freed from prison later this year, is 20 years younger than Danniella.
Last year, the actress spoke about her upcoming wedding plans, and revealed her excitement at David’s proposal once he’s released.
“He has asked me to marry him but I told him to wait until he gets home. He asks me all the time, he even asked me at the jail. He didn't get down on one knee or anything but he's like, ‘we are getting married you know,’” she gushed.
