Danniella Westbrook left screaming as surgeon operating on face without anaesthetic SLAPPED her

Danniella Westbrook said she was left screaming in agony during an horrifyingly painful operation on her face by a doctor in Turkey.

The former EastEnders star, 49, flew out to have the facial reconstruction surgery in a desperate battle to save her face, as her lengthy battle with osteoporosis and years of drug addiction could lead to her face collapsing completely.

However, the TV star has been left traumatised following the horrifying operation, which she said was performed without anaesthesia.

Danniella told The Sun the surgeon even slapped her during the op, and her phone was confiscated by an assistant as she begged for him to stop.

She said she had met with the doctor over Zoom before flying out to Turkey in April, and after undergoing 3D scans on her nose, she was told the corrective surgery was “impossible” due to her osteoporosis.

Danniella was devastated, and said she had “waited five years” for the life-changing surgery, only to be told at the last minute that the operation was not going ahead.

After another consultation, the actress was offered filler in her face and Botox injections to straighten her nose, and agreed to return to see the surgeon - but insisted she hadn’t been told at that point about a thread lift, which is a cosmetic procedure used to tighten and lift the face.

Danniella was alarmed when she was given IV injections in her foot, which was unusual for a simple Botox and filler session.

“Anyway, so I'm sitting with my head back. She pours iodine on my hair. I thought, 'Well, this is a new revelation for Botox and filler.' They normally get a little black Biro, but she shaved the side of my hair,” she recalled.

She said her face was “clamped” by the surgeon’s assistant, and felt a “painful, a hot laser through my skin”.

Danniella began pleading with the doctor, and told him: “I have a lot of scar tissue, a lot of trauma. I feel a lot of pain. I can feel a lot. I thought I was having filler, what's going on?”

She then claimed the assistant took her phone off her because she was filming, and was “gonna do a YouTube thing” about her experience.

But then the producer turned into a nightmare for the actress, as the surgeon began inserting three metal rods into her face.

“He was going to me, 'Stop crying, stop crying.' I said, 'I'm in a lot of pain. Please, please. I'm frightened. I'm in a lot of pain. I didn't know this was going to happen.' It was really frightening,’” she said.

She then began to panic, and continued to tell the rogue doctor she was in serious pain, but she said he told her to “Stop f*****g moving, I tell you, stop moving.”

The op then turned into an altercation, as Danniella claimed the surgeon “slapped me on the other side of the face”.

She said she was stitched back up by his medical assistant, and she was sent home with no pain relief or antibiotics.

The actress is now desperately trying to find a surgeon who will perform the “proper surgery” she needs to save her face, and is back in the UK.

“I've got my gums receding back. Eventually I'm going to suffocate. I don't need a thread lift, this is not cosmetic, I need a medical procedure,” she sadly shared.
