Danniella Westbrook has revealed she's 'heartbroken' after seeing Prince Harry being treated like a 'second class citizen' at the Queen's funeral.
Queen Elizabeth II's funeral was on September 19, with viewers around the world tuning in to watch the historic occasion.
The late monarch's grandson, Harry, became a talking point at the ceremony after donning a morning suit instead of his military uniform.
Alongside his uncle Prince Andrew, Harry was also banned from saluting the Queen's coffin during the official burial ceremony as the pair are no longer working royals.
Actress Danniella, best known for her role as Sam Mitchell in EastEnders, shared her dismay at the sight which she said was particularly sad given what Harry had been through in losing his beloved mother, Princess Diana, at such a young age.
The former soap star also shared her anger at the royal family for 'not letting the past go' with their treatment of the prince.
She tweeted: "Poor prince harry my heart breaks for that kid, not allowed his uniform or to salute…
"Cant they just bloody let it go, his then king's son and it’s gran's funeral as well hate seeing him being treated like a second class citizen after all he's been through with losing his mother."
The late monarch was saluted twice, once outside Westminster Abbey and once before her coffin was taken from Wellington Arch in the centre of London to Windsor.
King Charles III and many military personnel saluted while Andrew and Harry kept their hands to their side.
Prince Harry was deployed to Afghanistan twice during his 10-year military career.
However, after he quit the Royal Family and moved to the US with Meghan Markle and their children, his military titles were revoked.
Prince Andrew was also not permitted to wear a uniform during the Queen's funeral ceremony as he stepped down from public life after the furore over his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein and later had his honorary titles stripped.

Prince Harry knew ahead of the funeral that he wouldn't be able to wear the uniform and urged people to "focus" on the Queen's legacy during the emotional day.
A Sussex spokesperson said: "[Prince Harry] will wear a morning suit throughout events honouring his grandmother.
"His decade of military service is not determined by the uniform he wears and we respectfully ask that focus remain on the life and legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II", according to royal commentator and author Omid Scobie.
The Duke of Sussex was permitted to wear military uniform over the weekend as he and the seven other grandchildren of the Queen stood vigil around her coffin in Westminster Hall.
