Former EastEnders actress Danniella Westbrook has bounced back from her split to her toyboy fiancé, as she's reported to be dating a 'rich businessman' just one week later.
Danniella Westbrook, who appeared in EastEnders as Sam Mitchell from 1990 to 1993, was pictured trying on wedding dresses last week before she and lover David split. The couple had been together for seven years in an on and off again relationship, even sticking it out when David spent time in prison.
The 49-year-old was set to tie the knot with her 29-year-old partner later this year, as he was due to be released in September ahead of her 50th birthday.
However it seems heartbreak is already a thing of the past for Danniella who has moved on from her engagement with a new beau that she reportedly met whilst holidaying in Turkey.
A source told The Sun: "Danniella was heartbroken by her latest split, but she’s quickly found herself a new man. She met a wealthy businessman in Turkey last week and he’s been spoiling her with presents. Danniella loves being in his company and is over the moon with her latest romance.
"It’s still fresh but she does genuinely like him and will continue travelling back and forth to see him."
Last week Danniella was pictured trying on wedding dresses on Monday (3 July) as she prepared to wed her 29-year-old partner, before the news that they had split broke on Tuesday (4 July).
A friend close to Danniella told The Sun after the split from David that the Celebrity Big Brother star was left "heartbroken" by the shock separation. They said: "Danniella was heartbroken last night.
"Both Danniella and David have decided to cancel their wedding plans and, it seems, their whole relationship.
"She has spent nearly seven years travelling all over the country to visit him but it seems the closer he is to coming home, the more the cracks are showing. They have both just changed so much since they first got together."
The shock split must have been hard for Danniella, who shared a cryptic Instagram post last week hinting at her feelings behind the break up.
She shared an image of a quote which read "It’s okay to disappear until you feel like you again". Alongside it Danniella wrote: "Catch flights not feelings #clarity."
Last year, the former soap actress spoke about her upcoming wedding plans, and revealed her excitement at David’s proposal and their marriage plans once he’s released.
At the time she gushed: "He has asked me to marry him but I told him to wait until he gets home. He asks me all the time, he even asked me at the jail.
"He didn't get down on one knee or anything but he's like, 'we are getting married you know'".
