Danniella Westbrook back in 'favourite city' as she shares love for Liverpool

Danniella Westbrook has spent some more time in her "favourite city" of Liverpool.

The former EastEnders star, who is frequently in town, was again in Liverpool and she took to social media to share an insight into her trip. She posted an image of the Wheel of Liverpool as she affectionately captioned it 'Scouseland' followed by a love heart.

She said she had spent a day in the city. On her Twitter, the actress wrote: "It’s been a windy but wonderful 24 hours in my favourite city in England lovely Liverpool."

It isn't the first time that the star has shown her appreciation for Merseyside. She has previously praised Aintree Hospital for its staff and cleanliness.

Danniella had visited the hospital for a consultation for an upcoming operation. The 48-year-old told OK! that her next surgery will "take its toll" on her as she is set to have part of her rib put in her cheek.

She has previously said the bones in her face were rotting. Because of this Danniella has been undergoing a "four-part journey of reconstructive surgery."

Danniella underwent other surgery at the hospital last year and issued a heartfelt thanks to staff at Aintree. She tweeted: "Thanks for all the messages of support for my operation. It was a huge success and I'm so happy thank you to @LivHospitals"
