Danielle Lloyd trying for sixth baby to have sister for her only daughter Autumn Rose

Danielle Lloyd has revealed she is trying for a sixth baby as she longs for a sister for her little girl.

The mum-of-five – who already had four boys – gave birth to a much-longed for daughter last year.

Autumn Rose, whose dad is Danielle’s second husband Michael O’Neill, arrived in the world in November 2021, so is coming up to her first birthday.

Despite saying she was done having kids after five, 38-year-old Danielle has shared she is currently trying to get pregnant with baby number six.

And the hope is that it’s another baby girl so Autumn has a sister to play with.

Speaking to New magazine, Danielle explained her U-turn and said: “I just can’t imagine Autumn not having a sister to play with.

“I just think it’s nice to have sisters together so they’ve always got each other’s backs. Girls can be quite bitchy, can’t they?”

She added: “I never had a sister, so I think it would be nice for Autumn. I’m thinking of her more than me.”

Asked how electrician husband Michael, who she also shares four-year-old Ronnie with, feels about adding to their brood, Danielle said he “just goes with the flow”.

“What does one more matter?” she joked.

To get her wish of having another girl Danielle said she will use the ‘babydust method ' again – which she believes got her pregnant with Autumn.

The Babydust Method: A Guide to Conceiving a Boy or a Girl is a book by genetics expert Kathryn Taylor.

It claims that sex timed around the days you ovulate can give women a higher chance of having a girl or boy.

Danielle explained having sex two days before you ovulate is best for having a girl.

She says this is because female sperm cells live longer than male sperm cells so when the male sperm dies, there is only the female sperm left.

If you want a boy intercourse should apparently happen twice, as close to ovulation as possible.

And Danielle said she can actually feel when she is about to ovulate as she gets “sharp pains” in her stomach.

“When the egg comes out I can actually feel it, although not everyone can,” the former Miss England winner shared.

Although she came under fire for her ‘gender selection’ process when it came to having Autumn, she says people now see her as something of a “guru” on the subject.

Danielle revealed she gets messages from women every day on social media who are trying to get pregnant like she did.

As well as Autumn and Ronnie who she shares with husband Michael, Danielle is mum to Archie, 11, Harry, 10, and eight-year-old George from her first marriage to footballer Jamie O’Hara.

But will she be disappointed if she has another boy? “I haven’t even thought about it. It will still be a beautiful baby. What will be will be, I suppose,” she said.
