Danielle Lloyd is set to make her reality TV return on the next series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The model, 38, is no stranger to the small screen having previously featured on the likes of Celebrity Big Brother as well as a celebrity edition of Gladiators.
And now the mum-of-five is set to grace our screens again in the near future after taking a step back to focus on her family life.
A source told Mirror Online: "It’s a show she has wanted to do for a very long time now. She’s very nervous but is also ready for the challenge."
The show is said to have started filming last week while the current series is being aired on Channel 4.
The insider continued: "Danielle has been training for months to get prepared for the show. We’re all so excited for her."
The Mirror has contacted both Danielle's and Channel 4 representatives for comment.
The current series of the gruelling show which tests your physical and mental strengths saw Fatima Whitbread break three ribs before soldiering on in the competition.
Former Olympian Fatima, who is the show's oldest contestant ever at the age of 61, somehow continued on her quest without highlighting her own “unbearable” suffering.
She revealed the pain was "awful" and "unbearable" at times but she refused to admit to her injuries in fear of being pulled out.
Fatima said: "When we jumped out the helicopter, Pete Wicks hurt his ribs, didn’t he? I cracked three ribs too, but I decided to go on. I never talked about it in the process because I didn’t want to be pulled out."
TOWIE star Pete was forced to withdraw from the hit Channel 4 series due to his injury after he was knocked out when he jumped from a helicopter. He was left face down in the water with broken ribs following the impact.
While he admitted the decision to pull him out of filming was the correct one, he confessed he was gutted not to finish the course.
Speaking to The Sun earlier in the month, Pete said: "I was gutted actually. Listen, this is a bit of a thing for me, it's like I've always wanted to do this show and the worst thing for me was to be taken out because that's something that I can't control."
