Daniel Radcliffe shut down a question from Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain and has been praised by viewers for doing so. He was on the ITV news programme to chat about his new movie, The Lost City.
He stars as Abigail Fairfax in the new film, an eccentric billionaire and international criminal who kidnaps character Loretta Sage in order to find the lost city, on which her novel is based. Sandra Bullock plays Loretta.
The 32-year-old was asked during the interview about the incident at the Oscars ceremony when Will Smith walked onto the stage and slapped Chris Rock after the comedian made a joke about the actor's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. Will Smith has since resigned from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences after apologising for the incident. You can read everything Will Smith had to say here.

The Good Morning Britain hosts had earlier been discussing the latest on the fallout from the altercation that happened during the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday before Smith picked up his first Oscar for his role in King Richard. Rock has made a comment on the situation during his latest stand-up gig, admitting he was "still processing" what had happened but will talk about it "at some point". He referenced the incident at a stand-up show and promised that when he did comment officially it would be "serious and funny".
The Academy has also since revealed that Smith was asked to leave the awards show after the incident, but refused. They say an official review has been launched with Smith facing possible disciplinary action.
Later, when Susanna tried to find out what Daniel thought of the Oscars incident between Smith and Rock, he appeared reluctant to be drawn in on the talk. The GMB co-host remarked that other celebrities have said they were "in the toilets" at the time during the awards ceremony, to which the Harry Potter star replied: "I saw it, I’m just so already dramatically bored of hearing people’s opinions about it, that I just don’t want to be another opinion added to it."
"You don’t even want to hear yourself," Susanna replied to which Daniel responded: "No, no, not at all." There were no awkward moments, however, as the presenter, 51, went on to speak about her own experience of awards ceremonies where celebrities' reactions are caught on camera leading to Daniel to laugh about his own.
But Good Morning Britain viewers were quick to comment on the exchange and applauded Daniel for giving an honest answer.
@hooray_k tweeted: "#GMB #GoodMorningBritain Well done Daniel for saying bored of #WillSmith drama. Dragging on."
"#GMB Good on Daniel Radcliffe for not answering about Will Smith. Other celebrities have jump on the bandwagon. Their own pass are coming back to haunt them and they've done way worse. @GMB In few weeks everyone will love Will Smith again," @Kellyfree12 shared.
@TheIntoxicatedJ commented: "Thank goodness for Daniel saying what everyone is thinking that he is bored of hearing about it #GMB."
