Donegal singer Daniel O’Donnell said there was “no warning” before his sister died of a suspected heart attack.
The household name outlined that his sister Kathleen was doing fine at the time she got up in the morning.
He said his sister gave both great "strength" and "support" to the entire family, RSVP Live reported.

Daniel shared that they were all in shock at how suddenly it had all happened.
“If Kathleen was in your corner you didn’t need an army,” Daniel told the Sunday World.
“Trish (Kathleen’s daughter) and her young children had been staying with Kathleen and her husband, John, for a couple of days," he explained.
His sister had been up to give the children a bath and look after them. After that, she made a list of items to pick up in the shops. She then washed her hair before going out to SuperValu.
"The list is still on the table," he said.
"It happened so quickly, there was no warning. Kathleen hadn’t been sick. She was well that morning, doing normal things. That’s why it’s so hard to take in," Daniel added.
Kathleen was the one who looked after their mother before she passed away. She lived in the family home with Kathleen up until her death.
Daniel said: "When I would phone, Kathleen would have all the news and she would keep you up to date on everything."
He recalled how supportive she had been of him during his busiest times.
“She had endless energy and would go to the ends of the earth for me,” he said.
“Recently, when I said I was going to Creeslough to sing at the Mass, she was there ready for the road to take me. If I had to go to Dublin afterwards, she would go to Dublin with me, if I needed the drive.
“Of course, if you needed to be told off about something there was no better woman, too," he added.
He also noted how proud she was of her entire family, adding: "Just like my mother was with her grandchildren, Kathleen’s grandchildren were everything to her."
