Tottenham's search for a new manager goes on. Now 62 days since Antonio Conte departed Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the club have yet to find a replacement for the Italian.
Spurs' hunt is starting to draw parallels with the the summer of 2021 and the 72 days it took to replace Jose Mourinho with Nuno Espirito Santo. Unless chairman Daniel Levy can make a swift appointment in the next week or so, Spurs' search will most certainly surpass those 72 days.
With Arne Slot earlier in the week appearing on course to take on the hotseat before opting to pen a new contract with Feyenoord, the search has been plunged into even more chaos. Not only needing a new manager, Spurs also require a new managing director of football following Fabio Paratici's resignation in April.

Levy must decide which position he prioritises, with the arrival of a new manager potentially slowed down if Paratici's replacement is to come through the door first. Regardless of who is first in at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs need to use the time wisely and make the correct calls or else they could find themselves in the exact same position later down the line.
Our Tottenham correspondents Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest discussed all of the above and the latest on the managerial situation, as well as Slot's decision to remain in the Eredivisie and the possibility of Ange Postecoglou taking on the top job, on the latest episode of their podcast Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham.
