Daniel Levy's Tottenham manager decision, Stellini's Davinson Sanchez call and Paratici fate

Daniel Levy's decision over the next Tottenham Hotspur manager becomes ever more pressing with each passing slip-up on the pitch for the club.

Spurs threw away another lead this season as they lost at home on Saturday to Bournemouth, giving away their chance to step temporarily back into the top four after Newcastle lost at Aston Villa. Tottenham's match was also notable for defender Davinson Sanchez's every touch being booed by his own fans after he was at fault for the visitors' second goal.

That leaves acting Tottenham boss Cristian Stellini with a big decision to make this weekend for the match at Newcastle on Sunday with Clement Lenglet suffering an injury against Bournemouth and potentially leaving Sanchez and Japhet Tanganga as the only fit centre-backs to come in.

There were also more chants for the chairman to leave the club as well as for the return of former manager Mauricio Pochettino, who Levy sacked in 2019. There is also the future of Fabio Paratici to be determined this week with Tottenham's managing director of football's appeal against his two-and-a-half year ban by the Italian football federation, which was extended globally by FIFA, to be heard on Wednesday.
