It is NFL draft season and one of the most notable draft experts is Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com and the “Move the Sticks” podcast. Jeremiah is no doubt an expert in the field and I certainly consider him a must listen. He recently released his top 50 2024 NFL Draft prospects, but we only care about Ohio State football and the Big Ten here, so I wanted to isolate his top five Big Ten prospects on that list.
The NFL Draft starts on April 25th in Detroit, Michigan, which is almost three months away so it should be noted that these rankings could change the closer we get to showtime.
It should also be highlighted that rankings are not a mock draft and mock drafts include consideration for team slots, needs, and fits and these player rankings are just his top players overall. Now let’s dive into the top five Big Ten prospects that Jeremiah has ranked.

J.J. McCarthy

Chop Robinson
Overall Rank: 25th
School: Penn State
Position: Edge
One of my favorite prospects for the #Colts is Penn State DE Chop Robinson
Ridiculous athlete with an elite first step who never takes a play off.
Reminder come Mock Draft szn: The guy that’s everyone’s dream 2nd round pick ends up going way earlier pic.twitter.com/0N8f4wrAVa

Olumuyiwa Fashanu
Overall Rank: 12th
School: Penn State
Position: Offensive Tackle
Harsh truth, but if the #Patriots aren’t POSITIVE about the Quarterback who falls to them at #3 Overall, they NEED to pick a Tackle OR trade back. Either Joe Alt, or Olumuyiwa Fashanu.
Most IMPORTANT Positions of need:
1. QB
2. T
3. WR pic.twitter.com/wqRvx9Cnoz— Patriot RedZone (@PatriotRedZone) January 25, 2024

Marvin Harrison Jr.
Overall Rank: 2nd
School: Ohio State
Position: Wide Receiver
I don’t care what else happens, the Bears have to leave the draft with Marvin Harrison Jr. pic.twitter.com/3EnsHSG7cc
