Jalen Carter is declining predraft visits with teams outside the top 10 after stops to meet with the Eagles and the Bears on Monday afternoon.
According to Adam Schefter, Carter’s agent Drew Rosenhaus is confident that the All-American defensive tackle won’t slip past the first ten picks in the draft.
During a Tuesday visit to the Pat McAfee Show, NFL draft guru Daniel Jeremiah hinted at Philadelphia being the likely reason Rosenhaus is so confident in declining visits with teams outside the top ten.

Carter played alongside 2022 first-round pick Jordan Davis and third-round pick Nakobe Dean for the national champions Bulldogs in 2021. Jeremiah insinuated that their presence in Philadelphia could be a factor in any draft night decision.
Carter was a 2021 second-team All-SEC selection after logging 37 tackles, 8.5 for loss with three sacks, two blocked kicks, and two starts in 15 games.
In 2022, Carter led a Bulldogs defense that allowed the fewest rushing yards per game (77.1), garnering first-team Associated Press All-American and all-conference honors despite missing time during Georgia’s title run with knee and ankle injuries.
Carter finished the season with 32 tackles, seven for loss with three sacks, three pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 13 games and nine starts.
