Daniel Farke told the Leeds United players he shouldn't sell and build his promotion bid around

Leeds United supporters have been clear with their message for new boss Daniel Farke ahead of the upcoming Championship campaign. The new Whites' boss may have just walked through the door but there are plenty of decisions to be made regarding the future of players at Elland Road.

Transfer activity has been low-key so far this summer, with the 49ers takeover delaying almost everything as they await the green light from the EFL. Farke will take charge of pre-season and put the players through their paces this week as he looks to add another promotion to his CV.

One player who could prove vital in any promotion bid, is Leeds' midfielder Tyler Adams, who supporters would love to keep at the club beyond the summer. In our recent 'keep or sell poll' 84 per cent of those who took part said they'd like to keep the American international at the club this summer.

That may prove difficult given the level of interest in the 24-year-old central midfielder, who is reportedly on West Ham United's transfer wish list to replace Declan Rice. Newcastle United and Manchester United have also been linked with Adams in the past, while Aston Villa and Brighton were among the so called frontrunners for his signature last month.

Another player supporters want to see Farke build their promotion foundations on, is goalkeeper Joel Robles. 71 per cent of voters said they'd like to see the club offer the Spanish goalkeeper a new deal at the club, having been invited back for pre-season training.

The 33-year-old played second fiddle to Illan Meslier for the majority of last season, but was given a starring role under Sam Allardyce with pressure mounting on the young Frenchman. There was very little Robles did wrong during that time, despite the Whites picking up just one point from those four games.

After a season away from the club on loan with Fulham, Daniel James returns to the club this summer for a clean slate. There has been very little speculation surrounding his future at Elland Road, which could point to a stay this season and an important role at the club.

70 per cent of voters want to see the Wales international stay at the club in the third highest voted player to remain. Danish defender Rasmus Kristensen - who has been linked with a move to AS Roma - was the fourth most voted for player to stay, with 66 per cent voting in favour to keep him al Elland Road.

The only goalkeeper currently on the books - Kristoffer Klaesson - also received 66 per cent of votes in favour of remaining at the club, despite having made just one senior appearance at the Whites. Chances for game time are likely to increase in the Championship, especially if Illan Meslier moves on.

Adam Forshaw had 63 per cent of votes in favour of staying at Elland Road - he like Robles, has been invited back for training but faces an uncertain future at the club.
