Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has earned admiration from Barcelona legend Dani Alves.
The Reds right-back has become a key player for the club since breaking into the first-team as a teenager. Now at the age of 23, he is once again leading the way in terms of assists in the Premier League.
Alexander-Arnold has 11 to his name in the top flight this season, one more than his fellow Liverpool team-mates Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson. He is just two behind his best Premier League tally of 13 which he achieved in the title-winning 2019/20 campaign.

Thanks to being one of the standout players in his respective position in world football for a few years now, Alexander-Arnold has earnt plaudits from a fellow famous right-back.
Alves, who returned to Barcelona in November, has explained why he is an admirer of the Liverpool defender. The 38-year-old went on to name two other right-backs he enjoys watching, and why Alexander-Arnold is “world class”.
“I admire Trent Alexander-Arnold very much,” Alves told the May edition of FourFourTwo. “He’s a fantastic footballer - this guy has got world-class skills.
“I also like to watch Reece James and Achraf Hakimi. They mix strength with technique and are also great players.
“The three of them obviously have different characteristics and styles - but they all know how to do the job.”
