Dancing On Ice viewers were shocked and confused to spot Vanessa Bauer in the audience on Sunday night's show.
Brendan Cole took to the ice with stand-in partner Brendyn Hatfield, following original pro skater Vanessa being replaced after testing positive for Covid-19.
Viewers watching at home loved the former Strictly Come Dancing star and his new partner's performance to Beggin' by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons from Jersey Boys, for Musicals Week.
The panel enjoyed it too - with guest judge Arlene Phillips even giving her old BBC colleague his first score of 10 of the series.
Brendan was confirmed to be performing with Brendyn earlier this week, after it was announced that usual partner Vanessa had been struck down with Covid-19.
"Unfortunately, Vanessa Bauer is unable to skate this weekend after testing positive for Covid-19. We look forward to Vanessa returning to the competition soon," ITV explained in a statement on Tuesday.
After learning of Vanessa's Covid-19 status, many Dancing On Ice viewers were shocked to see her in the audience on Sunday night.
"Why is Vanessa in the studio if she has covid? I'm so confused. #DancingOnIce," one fan asked on Twitter as the show aired.
"So Vanessa had to isolate as she got COVID but she's in the crowd tonight with no mask.ok!!#DancingOnIce #itv @dancingonice," another questioned.
A third added: "How is Vanessa there if she has Covid? [eyes emoji] #DancingOnIce."
Other fans were up to date on Vanessa's recovery - informing others that the star is now all-clear of the viral disease and legally able to be out and about in public spaces once again.
"Just incase anyone wondering Vanessa had covid she tested negative the other day I think she put it on her insta! For everyone asking why she’s there #DancingOnIce," one fan took to Twitter to inform others on Sunday night.
Vanessa, who has topped the leaderboard in recent weeks with Brendan, shared her disappointment at missing out on this weekend's show earlier this week.
She said: "I’m disappointed that I have tested positive for Covid and won’t be able to perform with Brendan for Musicals Week. But I am excited that Brendan gets to skate and challenge himself with an incredible fellow pro and friend in Brendyn.
"I have no doubt they will absolutely smash this Sunday. I’m looking forward to returning to the competition to showcase more creative routines!"
Both Brendyn and Brendan did Vanessa proud - wowing both the judges and viewers watching at home.
"The Brendan’s were bloody brilliant #DancingOnIce," one fan gushed on Twitter.
Another agreed, adding: "I LOVED Brendan and Brendyn! #DancingOnIce."
"Brendan and Brendyn deserved 10s across the board!! Hard to tell who the Pro was. Absolutely fab," a third praised.
