Dancing On Ice star Patsy Palmer tipped for elimination after 'shaky performance'

Dancing on Ice's Patsy Palmer could possibly be the next star to be eliminated from the dancing competition.

Gambling company William Hill believe the star's time on the series is 'beginning to freeze out'.

The former EastEnders star will be taking to the ice for her second routine with professional dance partner Matt Evers on Sunday.

She performed for the first time last week and managed to secure 21 points but judges told her she looked 'shaky' and 'terrified' on the ice.

Lee Phelps of William Hill explained: "Our punters clearly feel Patsy Palmer’s time on Dancing On Ice is beginning to freeze out.

"We are 2/1 for the former Eastenders legend to depart the show on Sunday night, making her the outright favourite to be next eliminated."

Lee added to Daily Star: "Also don’t bank on Michelle Heaton (11/4) and Ekin-Su Culculoglu’s (3/1) chances of safety after the pair similarly failed to woo the judges."

Last week, contestant John Fashanu became the first star in this year's series to be eliminated.

The football star lost the dreaded skate-off against Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, with the judges sending them home.

As both celebrities and their professional skating partners, Brendyn Hatfield and Alexandra Schauman performed one more time for the panel, Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse all had to choose who to save and who to eliminate.

As the result came in, hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby bid farewell to the first casualty of the rink ahead of week three.

Before appearing on Dancing on Ice, Patsy admitted she was nervous about the competition and added she doesn't want to make the same mistake she made when appearing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2005.

She took part in the BBC show to raise money for Children in Need dancing alongside Anton Du Beke - but didn't expect it to be as tough as it was.

She told of how she used to "get sick" while spinning during her time on Strictly - and is worried this could return on the ice.

Patsy explained: "When I was doing Strictly Come Dancing I used to get sick from spinning. I hadn't really watched it so I didn't realise how much spinning was involved.

"I was really gutted about that because it used to set me back. If I hadn't had that I think I could have gone way further in the competition. I'm hoping that with the momentum on ice, it won't happen."
