Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have shut down fresh claims of a 'fix' on Dancing on Ice over the dance background of several of this year's contestants.
The ITV show is no stranger to such accusations, with 2019 champion James Jordan sparking 'unfair advantage' negativity from the very first rime on the rink, due to him being a Strictly Come Dancing pro.
The fix accusations have resurfaced this year, largely down to the fact that another Strictly star, Brendan Cole, is on the line-up and has been racking up some very high scores, particularly in recent weeks, when he has received 10s from the Dancing on Ice judges.

His fellow contestants include Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt, herself a trained dancer and Gazza's son Regan Gascoigne, who also has a dance background.
All three, particularly Regan, have been defended by fans in recent weeks against the backlash and now Winter Olympic champions Torvill and Dean have had their say.
Speaking to The Sun, Jayne remarked: "We're used to it, aren't we, Chris really?
Chris, who remarked that they were getting 'bored' of the accusations against the show, saying: “We're just judging what we see.
“But the majority of the time, it's the viewers at home that are voting to keep people in.”
Homing in on the claims surrounding James, Jayne added: "James Jordan, we were very excited that he was doing it.
"But his actual skating skills at the beginning were really very weak, very poor, and it was only the fact that he went away and worked really hard that moved him on."
Regan is the current favourite to win the new series with bookies, having been a front-runner from day one.
