Dancing on Ice's Regan Gascoigne wants to do TV show with dad Gazza

Regan Gascoine has said he'd be keen to do a TV show with dad Gazza as he remains the favourite to win Dancing on Ice.

Regan, who has just turned 26, has been one of the most impressive celeb skaters on the new series of the hit ITV show.

He has consistently been at the top of the leaderboard, after pulling in some fantastic scores from the judges.

Regan was in the thick of the high scores once again on Sunday's Dancing on Ice, after he and pro partner Karina Manta performed a dazzling routine to Hairspray classic You Can't Stop the Beat for Musicals Week.

The skating pair joined Lorraine Kelly on her ITV programme on Wednesday morning, with Lorraine discussing how proud his football legend dad Paul looked when he watched him in action a few weeks ago.

She told Regan: "Look, now your daddy looked like he was going to explode with happiness when he was watching you and your mum of course, very proud of you.

"It's lovely, it's so nice. Lots of people have talked about maybe the two of you doing a show together.

"Would you ever consider that?"

Regan replied: "I know. I think it would be so fun. I don't know what's going to happen after this, but if we got to do that, I think it would be amazing."

Lorraine responded: "I think it would be lovely because, you've got a great bond and also you would bring out a side to him that maybe people haven't seen before and vice versa.

"I think it would work really well."

When watching Regan in the Dancing on Ice studio, his former England icon dad Paul teared up as he got out of his seat to give him a standing ovation, later telling host Holly Willoughby how proud he was of him.
