Dancing on Ice's Regan Gascoigne left upset as he prepares for final

Regan Gascoigne has been left upset about Dancing on Ice coming to an end as he is battles through a gruelling schedule of training and show commitments in the run up to Sunday's final.

Regan, 26, has been the bookies' favourite to win from his first performance back in January and has cemented his position as hot tip to win with some amazing routines alongside pro partner Karina Manta in recent weeks. On Sunday night Gazza's son will battle it out against Brendan Cole and Kimberley Wyatt for the Dancing on Ice crown and experts think its his to lose.

The trio have had longer to prepare for the final than any other contestants in Dancing on Ice history, after the show was pushed back a week so ITV could show live FA Cup Football. And, after an early start for more training an an appearance on Lorraine on Friday, Regan took to Instagram to reveal the extent of his gruelling timetable with days to go before the finale and his sadness at his time on the show ending.

He began by telling fans: "It is Friday already and I can't believe the final is going to be in two days. This experience is going way too fast for my liking. I'm not happy it's coming to an end on Sunday."

And it was then that Regan lifted the lid on the hours he and Karina have been putting in, explaining: "We have a really packed day today. We're not finishing until 9pm tonight as we have got four routines to rehearse.

"Hopefully I get to perform all four of those; if not at least I'll get to do three of those. The fourth on will be the Bolero."

He ended: "I'm really upset this whole experience is coming to an end, 'cos I've honestly loved it. I don't think anything will be able to top it."
