Each year, Dancing on Ice takes a group of rookie skater celebrities and tries to churn out some amateur Torvill and Deans for our entertainment.
But, of course, practice makes perfect, and sometimes the pressure of training and performing on the ice, alongside general clumsiness, can lead to some tumbles and injuries.
Over the years, plenty of celebrities have had to pull out of the show, even if just for a moment, due to injury. Whereas others have comedically slipped up on the ice, and have instantly got up, unharmed.

Here are some of the most well-remembered ice incidents that have taken place on the hit ITV show since its inception.
Gemma Collins takes a tumble
The GC put her skates on and took to the ice in 2019, partnered with Matt Evers for the series.
During one episode, Gemma donned a lacy black outfit as she and Matt danced to Céline Dion's 'It's All Coming Back To Me Now'.
Things took a turn for the worse when, during the performance, Gemma's toe pick got caught.
Reminiscing on the performance during the Christmas special later that year, Gemma said: "I remember thinking, 'I'm nearly at the end, I haven't fallen yet, this is a miracle, maybe I'll stay in for one more week.
"I got so excited, I just went too over the top with my movement, which you're not allowed to do in ice skating and my toe pick got caught – and bang."
Sinitta ripping Andrei's trousers
Way back in 2010, So Macho songstress Sinitta appeared on the show, partnered with professional Russian skater Andrei Lipanov.
Unfortunately, the pair became the first of the season to be voted off after a lift went wrong, causing the 80s popstar to rip her partner's trousers.
After hearing that she was being voted off the show, Sinitta said: "I had such high hopes for this. I was starting to love it. I can hardly speak."
Vanilla Ice slips
In 2011, Vanilla Ice appeared on the show, and sustained a nasty injury during training.
The rapper slipped and banged his head on the ice, giving himself a concussion.
"I felt like I'd been hit by Mike Tyson." he said, as he received stitches for the nasty slash across his face.
Jennifer Ellison is left red-haired and red-faced after kicking herself in the head
In 2012, Brookside actor Jennifer Ellison injured herself whilst performing a scorpion kick on the show, although she carried on as though nothing had happened.
Dancing with her professional partner for the show, Daniel Whiston, the actor accidentally sliced her head with her skate, leaving her bloodied and in shock.
She required medical attention after the performance, and was left with red hair as a result of the nasty injury.
Jorgie Porter cuts her partner's face
Hollyoaks actor Jorgie Porter appeared on the 2012 series of the show, dancing alongside Matt Evers.
During a dress rehearsal, the pair practised the 'neck spin' routine, but it all ended in tears when Jorgie accidentally sliced Matt's forehead open with one of her skating blades.
She appeared inconsolable on the ice as she realised what she had done, and stood with her head in her hands as he sought medical attention.
