Dancing on Ice result sees Michelle Heaton victim of cruel exit as fans hit out 'harsh' judges

Michelle Heaton has been backed by Dancing on Ice fans, who have accused the judges of being 'overly harsh' with their scores, as she bowed out of the show in cruel circumstances on Sunday night, with no opportunity to save herself in the skate-off.

Liberty X star Michelle had an emotional start to her journey on the ITV show, admitting she was left in tears when the call came through to say she'd landed a spot on the line-up, before then being left close to tears after she and pro partner Lukasz performed their first routine.

While her husband Hugh and children Faith and AJ cheered wildly for her in the audience, the judges weren't so kind about Michelle's skating, with their scores seeing her end up at the bottom of the leaderboard. After avoiding the dreaded skate-off, Michelle and Lukasz were ack in action on Sunday night, with Michelle fulfilling a career dream of becoming Roxie in Chicago, as they performed to All That Jazz.

Michelle looked stunning with a sharp black bob and flapper dress, but again the marks from the Dancing on Ice judges weren't what she hoped for, although they did go up slightly to 20 out of 40.

The Gateshead born star looked crestfallen as the scores and comments came in from the judges and fans were quick to fight her corner on Twitter, arguing that the scores were unfairly low.

One raged: "I’m no fan of Michelle at all but those scores were criminal, she deserved more," with another tweeting: "WTAF with those scores for Michelle?? Seriously, the judges are ruining this show with their farcical scores."

A third reacted: "Nah sorry those scores for Michelle are a p**s take. 4.5? Behave"

The low scores proved to be the nail in the coffin for Michelle, as after the public had a chance to vote, she was eliminated straight away as the Dancing on Ice scrapped its skate off for one week only, looking upset but also heaping praise on Lukasz.
