Dancing on Ice's Michelle Heaton ready to take big risk with 'danger' move

Michelle Heaton has go on the record to reveal she is prepared to tackle Dancing on Ice's most 'notorious' move, right after she avoided landed in the first skate-off of the new series.

Liberty X star Michelle was one of six celebrities in action as the new series of the ITV show kicked off on Sunday night; but things didn't go quite to plan for her and pro partner Lukasz Rozycki, when they ended up bottom of the leaderboard after their first performance.

Their routine to Shania Twain song Waking Up The Dreaming, had the backing of the country singer herself, but failed to dazzle the Dancing on Ice judges, who only awarded it 19 out of a possible 40. That left Michelle and Lukasz in serious jeopardy of being in the bottom two, but, thankfully for them, they had the support of viewers at home and it ended up being Love Island winner Ekin-Su who landed in the skate-off, with her professional skater Brendyn Hatfield.

Michelle looked both shocked and relieved when the result was announced and is now looking ahead to week three and even further.

And she has publicly declared she is wiling to take on the 'headbanger,' the famous Dancing on Ice which comes with the very real potential of serious injury. Way back in 2006, on Dancing on Ice's first series, England keeper David Seaman dropped partner Pam O'Connor on her head when attempting the move.

The headbanger is a move which involves the man of the pair spinning the woman from her ankles making her body move up and down in a circle while her head is just inches away from the ice.

However, hinting she'd be happy to give the headbanger whirl, Michelle said: ""I hope I'm in the show long enough to show you all mine. I will be hopefully attempting it.

"It is something that we've spoke about because if I was two inches higher it wouldn't be thought of. So it's literally a height thing."

She added: ""So when people don't do it, it's not that they don't want to, it's a height thing and it's safety. So hopefully in the coming weeks I will attempt it."
