They may have just performed on the ice but Joey Essex was feeling the heat when he was quizzed about romance rumours between him and his professional Dancing on Ice partner Vanessa Bauer. The reality star is among the string of famous faces currently appearing in the ITV skating competition, and the pair have got off to a flying start on the ice with their performances.
Ever since it was revealed that the pair would be skating together, there have been rumours around their relationship. Host Holly Willoughby previously addressed them following their first skate, saying to Joey: "You're really enjoying this partnership aren't you."
A giggly Joey then looked his partner Vanessa up and down before saying: "She's easy on the eye." Holly added: "And she's a very good skater!"

And during an appearance on on Good Morning Britain, the questions about the pair resurfaced. Joey told Susanna Reid and Ed Balls: "The truth is, I'm single, Vanessa’s single, we go to the ice rink every day. It's cold, you’ve got to keep each other warm, so that's it really."
Susanna probed: "But it sounds like you're not single and she's not single? It sounds like you’re both together." And Joey eplied: "No comment, I can't confirm. We are both single." He then added: "We're taking it slow, it's all good."
In tonight's Dancing On Ice, as the pair returned for their second skate, this time skating as lovebirds Danny and Sandy in Grease to You're The One That I Want. And Holly couldn't resist raising the subject again.
"You'e like a real life Sandy and Danny out there. Have you got something you want to tell us you two?" she asked. And Joey answered with a cheeky wink: "Danny and Sandy are getting on pretty well if you know what I mean?"
Holly pressed: "Is it going steady as they say in Grease?" And he replied: "Of course yeah. Always steady." Phillip asked: "Are you confirming this?" And he said with his hands raised as Vanessa laughed: "I'm not confirming anything." Judge Ashley Banjo told them: "Whatever is going on is working."
