Dancing on Ice's Holly Willoughby predicts problematic live show for remaining contestants

Holly Willoughby predicted some of the remaining contestants would struggle on Sunday's Dancing on Ice as they faced the notoriously tricky Prop Week.

An annual occurrence on the ITV show, the theme has seen the celeb skaters and their pro partners have to skate with all manner of different objects, from office chairs to suitcases and umbrellas to top hat and canes.

The remaining contestants from the class of 2022 have to incorporate their props, including baseballs bats and a mop and bucket, into the routines as judges Torvill and Dean and Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse look on.

And having seen plenty of Dancing on Ice stars struggle over the years during Prop Week, Holly acknowledged the fact that Sunday's live show had the potential to go wrong for some of the couples left in the competition.

As she does every week, the popular presenter took to Instagram to give fans a look at her outfit before cameras starting rolling.

As well as telling her many followers she was wearing a gown from Sassi Holford, Holly wrote: "It’s props week tonight on @dancingonice … always a tricky one for our skaters… also our very own @otimabuse dances for us and from watching rehearsals you are in for something special."

Judge Oti's performance comes at the end of a week which saw her quit Strictly Come Dancing after seven years as a professional on the BBC show, winning it twice.

Talking about her Dancing on Ice performance, which will see her team up with Torvill and Dean, Oti posted: "It's so great to be dancing again and I can't wait for everyone to see what we’ve been working on for my ‘I Am Here UK Tour’ when we debut the show on Dancing On Ice this Sunday! Someone pinch me!

"Dance will always be my first love and this tour will be the end of the most amazing chapter of my life! My way to say thank you to everyone that has supported me on this journey.

"I’m so honoured that the legendary Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have choreographed the talented pro skaters for this special performance. It’s literally a dream come true.
