Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu could be dressed as a nun on Dancing On Ice this weekend following Ofcom complaints for her racy outfit.
The Love Island star sparked a string of complaints for her bikini-inspired outfit when she made her Dancing On Ice debut two weekends ago, as 112 people told the TV regulator that the outfit was "not appropriate" for before the watershed. Ekin-Su also landed in the bottom two and had to wait to the following week to find out her fate.
However, a skate off the following week saw John Fashanu become the first celebrity to leave the ITV skating show.
As she prepares for the upcoming episode, it has been revealed Ekin-Su will be dancing to a track from The Sound of Music for musicals week, with ITV's entertainment correspondent hinting the Love Island star could be dressed as a nun for the performance.
The Sound of Music follows the story of an aspiring nun Maria, who is sent to take care of seven children. ITV have also confirmed that there will be no skate off this weekend, and the judges' scores and public vote will be combined. Whoever finds themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard will be sent home from the competition.
Ekin-Su previously admitted she was "really upset" over the backlash to her performance.
As she spoke to host Holly Willoughby, she said: "I'm not gonna lie, I was really upset over the past two days. I questioned myself and what I had done wrong. [I said to myself] you know what, stop this crying Ekin. You are a strong woman, take on the notes from the judges, work hard and I really wanted to prove myself. We’ve been working really hard and I am here today."
Since the controversy surrounding her outfit, Dancing On Ice judge Oti Mabuse defended Ekin-Su's clothing.
Joking to Graham Norton, the judge said: "If I had that body, I would wear less all the time. It is so exciting to be part of a show that gets complaints. I thought the outfit was really, really sexy and risk-taking is what is important to me."
Kimberly Wyatt - who appeared on the show last year and made it all the way to the final - admitted it can be hard for women on the skating show, adding to The Mirror in defence of Ekin-Su: "It's very difficult for a woman on that show, especially if you go any place that's sexy. The viewers just don't quite like it. They don't connect with it.
"I'm so glad she did - you could tell she felt good in her skin. Being a girl is tough on that show."
