Dancing on Ice has crowned it latest champions, with Nile Wilson and professional partner Olivia Smart triumphing in Sunday night's final.
Since it made its debut on ITV back in 2006, Dancing on Ice has been won by a vast array of famous faces, kicking off with Coronation Street favourite Gaynor Faye in series one and Regan Gascoigne being its most recent winner after winning last year.
Regan actually made an appearance in the finale, skating onto the rink with 2022 runner up Brendan Cole to promote a competition, before he saw Olympic gymnast Nile follow in his footsteps, after another perfect 40 for his Pirates of the Caribbean routine, which even saw him complete the dangerous headbanger move.
Nile, Joey Essex and The Vivienne all performed a Showcase skate in the first part of the live broadcast, resulting in a three way tie on the leaderboard as they all got 40, before doing Battle to Destiny's Child track Survivor. It was then down to the public to choose their final two, with The Vivienne bowing out in third place, leaving Nile and Joey to skate to Torvill and Dean's iconic Bolero.
With the final result purely based on public votes, the judges score only acted as a guide and, after lines closed it was the job of Dancing on Ice hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby to announce that Nile and Olivia had won.
In the immediate aftermath of the result, Nile said the win and being part of the class of 2023 "meant so much," before adding that Dancing on Ice was "an inspirational show."
