ITV has postponed the Dancing On Ice final by a week later this month.
Instead of the final skaters battling for the title on March 20, the FA Cup Quarter Final will now be shown at 6.30pm.
Following the show's semi-final this Sunday, the show will take a break and will air its final on March 27.
A double bill of FA Cup football will be airing instead on Sunday 20 March, with Liverpool vs Nottingham Forrest's game kicking off at 6pm.
ITV declined to comment when approached by the Mirror.
It comes after Stef Reid became the latest contestant to leave the show on Sunday after landing in the skate-off against Kye Whyte and his partner Tippy Packard.
Paralympian Stef, 37, took it on the chin and smiled as she hugged Andy and thanked him for her time on the ITV show.
Dancing on Ice fans were divided about the result and took to Twitter to comment.
One person said: "Doesn't seem fair that Kye can perfect a routine about 6 times and Stef goes on the first time she performs her skate off routine #dancingonice."
Another joked: "Kai survives his 50th dance off of the season #doi #dancingonice."
A third person tweeted: "These judges are definitely not watching what I’m watching #DancingOnIce."
However, other fans of the show were keen to show their support for Kye.
One tweeted: "Feel for Kye. He's such a good skater...fearless...but just not getting the votes #skateoff #DancingOnIce."
And another wrote: "Yessssssssssss come on Kye #DancingOnIce."
The show will be set for a double elimination next week, with two skating couples being sent home.
Announcing the news on Sunday, Phil said: "There's something that our couples don't know. So listen up because - and we've kept this quiet all day - I can reveal that it's also next week a double elimination.
"Not one but two couples will be leaving us."
Reacting to the gasps and groans, Phil quipped: "And everybody went, 'Oh my god!' After the night you gave us tonight as well!
"Genuinely we think it's been one of the best shows, if not the best we have ever had!"
