Dancing on Ice final 2022: Brendan Cole could beat bookies' favourite Regan Gascoigne

Dancing on Ice will come to an end this weekend and bookies have predicted who they think will win the 2022 series.

The final episode of the much-loved ITV series was delayed by one week due to football being shown, but now Regan Gascoigne, Kimberly Wyatt and Brendan Cole are gearing up for their final skate.

Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly, 40, will take to the ice with her professional skating partner Mark Hanretty in a bid to impress the judging panel one last time.

She will be joined by former Strictly Come Dancing pro Brendan, 45, and his partner Vanessa Bauer, as well as Regan, 26, and his skating pro Karina Manta.

Bookmakers BetVictor have reported that the show has a clear stand-out favourite.

Sam Boswell, a spokesperson at BetVictor, said: "It is no shock to see the trio of Brendon Cole, Kimberly Wyatt and Regan Gascoigne skate into the final.

"All three have a dance background which has definitely given them an advantage over other contestants.

"Though Regan is certainly a fans favourite and is a short price at 2/5 to win over Brendan Cole 10/3 and the outsider of the three Kimberly Wyatt is 11/2. Though Kimberly has given us the high scoring performances from the judges," they added.

It comes after former contestant Ben Foden admitted he's still feeling "bitter" about being voted off first.

Speaking about the upcoming final episode, Ben wrote in his Closer magazine column: "The Dancing On Ice final takes place this weekend, and I can't wait to see who wins!

"I've been watching the show obsessively this year - mostly because I starred in this series, but was sadly voted out in the first week.

"So while I've been loving it, I'm still also feeling a bit bitter that I wasn't able to learn more," Ben continued.

"I'm really competitive so I was gutted when I went out first. The only way I can come to terms with it is appreciating how high the standard was this year.

"From the beginning, Regan, Brendan and Kimberly have been unbelievable and the ones to watch. I don't think they've ever scored lower than an eight and a half.

"And I think because there was a week's break between the semi-final and the final, the routines we're going to see at the weekend will be amazing. This could be the best DOI final ever," the father-of-three added.

The Dancing on Ice final airs Sunday 27 March at 7pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
