Dancing On Ice viewers expressed their disappointment after the live final was removed from TV schedules.
ITV's decision to air sport in place of its regular weekend shows prompted further backlash from viewers on Sunday, after Saturday night saw Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and Starstruck cancelled and replaced by rugby coverage.
As viewers tuned in for Dancing on Ice they discovered that the show had been replaced by Live FA Cup Football coverage. The decision by ITV was announced earlier in the month but it didn't stop fans fuming over the choice on Sunday evening.

Taking to Twitter, some called out ITV for not airing the sports coverage on another channel, as others confessed they were pretty bored without the show being on.
One fan wrote: "Don't know what to do with my Sunday evening without #DancingOnIce ". Another added: "Ok, so they cancelled Saturday night takeaway last night and now they've cancelled dancing on ice on a weekend when my husband is away and I have the choice of TV to myself."
A third person wrote: "Sports on a Sunday night shouldn't be allowed let alone be on TV!!!" While another viewer wrote: "@dancingonice disgusting that sport is spoiling TV for a lot of people. Turn the TV on for Programs you have been look forward to all week and what do you get... sport."
Another added: "Surely they could have put footy on one of the other 3 channels they have, instead of ousting DOI. Not impressed."
The official Dancing On Ice Twitter had shared a message to fans to remind them of the schedule change earlier in the evening, adding that the final will take place next Sunday, March 27.
They wrote: "Don't forget we're not on this weekend because of the footy, but it gives our couples an extra week to train like never before and work on their amazing Final routines!
"Who will get your vote when we return Sunday 27 March?! We. Can't. Wait."
