It will be the first time in 20 years that Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern have presented together since their days on children's television.

Stephen Mulhern said: "I'm very much looking forward to being back hosting alongside my good friend Holly this weekend. It's big shoes to fill and I'm wishing Phillip a speedy recovery. I'm a big fan of Dancing on Ice and for one night only I’m thrilled to be rink side watching the action unfold. It’' going to be unbelievable!"

It comes after Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson replaced Phil on This Morning this week.

The television presenter confirmed he had tested positive Covid-19 on Monday night.

Posting the results of his lateral flow test on Instagram, Phil wrote: "Well b******s."

"Currently just a slightly sore throat," he added.

Dancing On Ice continues Sunday night at 6pm on ITV.
