The very first 2023 celebrity was revealed on ITV's This Morning by DOI presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. The hosts confirmed Patsy Palmer, who is best known for her role as Bianca Jackson in EastEnders, would be joining the line-up. You can read more on the announcement here.

Michelle Heaton
Pop singer Michelle Heaton was revealed as the tenth Dancing On Ice celebrity contestant. Speaking about signing up for the 2023 series after it was revealed on Lorraine on Monday, October 10, the Liberty X star told the show's host: "I'm so excited - I can't believe it. Me and the kids are such huge fans of the show in general.
"I've always wanted to do it but I know I would never have been able to complete anything because of the way I was 18 months ago, so I'm really truly grateful that I've got it this year when I'm a lot stronger."
When asked if she is familiar with the ice rink, Michelle, who is 18 months sober, said: "No, I definitely can't skate. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. That's the honesty of it. I'm not a skater!"
"My kids are so buzzing. Faith came up to me when I found out that I had it and she said 'I'm so proud of you mummy'!" She added: "I'm looking forward to finding out who my pro might be. I'm just really excited."

Actress and West End star Carley Stenson was the ninth contestant confirmed for Dancing On Ice. Speaking about signing up for the 2023 series, the former Hollyoaks star said: "I'm so excited that I get to learn how to dance... on ice!
