Dan Walker walked off stage when his rival Piers Morgan won a major TRIC Award on Tuesday.
The TalkTV host, 58, bagged the Interview of the Year gong for his chat with Cristiano Ronaldo and looked delighted with the accolade.
However, when Piers rocked up to collect the award, 5 News' Dan, 46, pretended to storm off, prompting a tongue in cheek speech from the former Good Morning Britain host.
Grinning from ear to ear, Piers told the crowd at Grosvenor House, London: “I know what you’re all thinking - long overdue.
“Obviously, my initial pain at realising this was going to be presented to me by Dan Walker was then overtaken by the reality of the enormous pain he would be suffering in having to present it to me.
“Although quite what he knows about presenting is beyond me - it’s a joke!”
Piers and Dan have a long-standing rivalry and often trade blows on social media.
The former Football Focus host branded the father-of-three “bitter” and a “numptie” after the TalkTV presenter accused him of “milking” his bike crash earlier this year.
In February, Dan shared a picture of his bloodied face on Instagram, explaining he’d been hit by a car.
However, Piers said: “If I were Dan Walker, and I’d been kicked off Match of the Day & BBC Breakfast, then washed up on Channel 5 daytime, and only got press these days by falling off a bike, getting a few grazes, and milking it like I’d survived a terror attack, I’d be this bitter too.”
Piers doesn't hold back on social media and made reference to another of his feuds when he jokingly thanked Meghan Markle at the TRIC Awards.
The presenter famously walked out of the GMB studio when he refused to back down on claims the Suits star was lying about her treatment by The Firm.
There is clearly no love lost between the pair and Piers couldn't resist having another dig at the mum-of-two when he collected his award on Tuesday.
With a glint in his eye, he said: "I’d like to thank Meghan Markle.
“Because if you think about it, without her helpful contribution to my career, I would never have got to TalkTV, I would never have done the interview and I wouldn’t be standing here with this award, so I dedicate this to Meghan.”
Piers joined TalkTV, which won another TRIC award for Julia Hartley Brewer's programme, in April 2022 after he left the ITV daytime show, which he hosted with Susanna Reid.
