Dan Walker has spoken out to thank viewers of BBC Breakfast for sticking with the show despite it being a 'tough watch' at the moment.
As it has done for the best part of two weeks now, the on-going conflict in Ukraine once again dominated proceedings, as Dan and co-presenter Sally Nugent crossed live to reporters in eastern Europe.
Before the show even came off air on Tuesday, Dan took to Twitter with a message for those who keep tuning in, posting; "Thanks for being with us on #BBCBreakfast this morning.
"We know it’s a tough watch at the moment but we are trying to bring you the latest from #Ukraine We’ll continue to speak to our correspondents and Ukrainians about what they are facing at the moment."

As well as going live to BBC correspondents, on the day that Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky will address MPs in Parliament today, Dan and Sally also spoke to Hussain, a resident in a part of Ukraine that has been seized by Russian forces.
Discussing the terribly sad interview on Twitter, Strictly 2021 star Dan wrote: "Speaking to Hussain in Russian controlled Kherson this morning on #BBCBreakfast.
"His wife & 3-year-old daughter only have chocolate & crisps left to eat. There is no food in the shops and no safe route out of the city. Desperate times for so many."
Dan was inundated with responses from his many followers. One told him: "It's so sad to watch but as usual you and Sally are doing a brilliant job as always," with a second, echoing those sentiments by replying: "You're all doing well. It's so hard to deal with. All I do is keep praying."
Other viewers were ken to know where Clive Myrie was, after it was revealed that the man who was hailed as a hero last week, had now left Ukraine.
