After three years as the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys, Dan Quinn is back in a head-coaching role. And he didn’t wait long to break out one of his patented slogans for his introductory press conference.
During his time as Falcons head coach (as well as his time in Dallas), Quinn was known to revisit the same lines after losses. If the Falcons started 1-3, they were “pissed off.” If they lost in the playoffs, they were “pissed.” It went on for years. He had a lot of material to work with.
So, when it came time to speak to the media during his introductory press conference, Quinn had himself a new quote to kick off his Commanders tenure. And, uh, it didn’t quite land. (Warning: NSFW language in the video and tweet)

Fans also thought the line was awkward, but hey, it’s just an opening press conference. Quinn has plenty of time to come up with new material.
