Dan Meis continues to tease Everton fans as new stadium architect watches clash with Tottenham

Dan Meis has continued to tease supporters after Everton's new stadium architect was present for the trip to Tottenham on Sunday.

The Toffees were visiting the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time after it was officially opened in April.

Meis tweeted a picture of the impressive single-tier structure - the largest in the country with 17, 500 seats - saying: "I like the big home stand."

This comes Everton stadium architect Dan Meis teases fans with cryptic picture ahead of second consultation stage with a cryptic picture as the club announced the second stage of public consultation, which will take place during the summer.

Following that, the plan is then to submit planning applications to the appropriate authorities in the second half of 2019.

From then the intention is that construction will begin six months after approval of the application, and it is expected to take approximately three years from 'spade in the ground' to the first ball being kicked at the new stadium on Bramley-Moore Dock.
